The completed Work will provide the Commission with boosted surface wash water to two (2) filter systems (Filters No. 1 and 3), pressure relief to protect the downstream water distribution system, improved treatment and hydraulic performance of Filters No. 2 and 4 with air scour enhanced backwashing, and improved configuration of low lift pumping system for current and future operational needs, a water tight roof with secure outdoor ladder access and new hatches and skylights that allow for future equipment removal/delivery.
