This project consisted of the construction of approximately 75 meters of l,500mm tunnel across Mayfield Road from the North Brampton Pumping Station using micro tunneling technology complete with 900mm feeder main and steel liner; construction of approximately 165 meters of 900mm diameter feeder main within continuously welded steel liner on Mayfield Road using open cut methods; construction of four valve chambers; modifications to process piping, valves and pumps within the existing pumping station; fuel system upgrades for the existing standby power generator; and implementation of associated electrical, instrumentation, and SCADA upgrades as required.
