Upon completion of the Work, the Region will be provided with: .1 Cast-in-place concrete diversion equalization tank equipped with aluminum walkways and handrails, submersible return pump complete with all necessary pipes, valves and controls/instrumentation. .2 Cast-in-place concrete flow diversion chamber added to existing SBR inlet channel equipped with modulating slide gate, complete with all power and controls/instrumentation. .3 Stainless steel flow diversion pipe and return pipes connecting flow diversion chamber with equalization tank complete with Parshall Flume and ultrasonic level sensor for flow measurement. .4 New pipe to connect the existing SBR equalization tank to the new diversion equalization tank complete with two (2) actuated knifed gate valves. .5 New chemical systems for alum, polymer, and sodium hydroxide consisting of new chemical tanks, pumps, controls, and all appurtenances complete with hot water flush system and new exterior lockable fill station cabinets. .6 Removal of existing chemical systems and components. .7 Provision of temporary chemical feed system. .8 New FRP platforms to support the elevated chemical tanks and provide access to the top of the tanks.
